With just under 10 days left until Christmas, it's essentially crunch time.  Soho's in constant grid-lock and we can only guess what malls in middle America look like right about now -- anyone else suddenly got a hankering for Cinnabon?  Good news, fellow procrastinators.  Thanks to the magic of the interwebs, you've still got plenty of time to get your holiday shopping done -- and thanks to us, we're going to make sure you get it done right.

With that, we've always been huge fans of all things monogrammed what with a subtle nod to some sort of inherited nobility like some perfectly worn Goyard trunk or your grandparent's stationery.  Monogrammed gifts are classic, prove your knowledge of your giftee's middle name (which has got to count for something) -- and suggest much more effort went into your gift giving than their un-monogrammed counterparts -- and if the internet has taught us anything, it's that just about anything can now be customized.  Sure, with a 30-day lead time, it's a little late to order Nike's new Pendleton Huarache & have it customized in time for Christmas -- there's still plenty of time to get on some of that custom gifting tip with days to spare.

A perennial favorite?  L.L. Bean's Boat & Tote.  A classic for decades, the official tote of prep is just as cool now as it was way back when. Offered up in tons of styles & still handmade state-side, L.L. Bean's legendary bag can still be monogrammed well before Christmas morning.  Hell, get on it this week, you can even customize & preview your tote start to finish -- all for less than $65 -- and still have it delivered by the 25th.

Locally, we're fans of Terrapin Stationers -- our go-to for any and all letterpress.  Family run and in operation since 1913, the folks at Terrapin made a name for themselves among the menswear set in 2010 with their "Fuck Off" calling cards making appearances regularly at NYC's legendary Pop-Up Flea.  Suddenly, stationery wasn't fussy & letterpress was back making regular appearances on the business cards of style bloggers everywhere -- and odds are, they got them at Terrapin. While you may not have enough time to get your order done before Christmas dinner, it's definitely worth checking them out...and if you're in NYC, we hear you may be able to ply them with a decent bottle of bourbon.

Finally, might we suggest the holy-grail of monogrammed goods, Mark and Graham, a website and business born to monogram featuring thousands of monogram-ready gifts, most of which can be shipped in just a few days. With everything from cashmere scarves to bags & barware, the site's pretty much built to make you look like a gifting god.  Better yet, Mark and Graham even teaches monogram newbies the etiquette of monogramming and the which-letter-goes-where issue for just about every scenario you can imagine.
