It's official folks.  Hannukah's last candle is lit & Christmas is closing in fast which can mean only one of two things.  You're either way behind with your holiday shopping list & you're kind of freaking out -- or your that guy who does his best work under pressure.  Most fall in the latter category.  Even in reading our first ever Holiday Gift Guide, you're probably realizing you should have your final internet gifts sorted this week -- unless of course, you resort to Amazon Prime Now's impressive shipping windows & limited stock. With that, we bring you one of of favorite gift-getting destinations on the 'net.

We first spotted Glenrock, New Jersey local, Leather Head Sports on D.I.Y. site, Etsy some time ago, putting their stock into our regular gift-rotation -- to nary a disappointed soul.  Their goal is simple.  Make beautifully crafted leather sports equipment -- and they do it incredibly well.  Launched by Paul Cunningham who served as a researcher for the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown & was the long time Photo Editor for Major League Baseball in Manhattan, Leather Head offers up an impressive range of hand-made goods making the notion of sport an almost gentlemanly pursuit again.

What started with one baseball lead to a full range of leather sporting goods including footballs, basketballs, medicine balls & baseball gloves -- all made one by one -- and starting at just $38. Baseball fans? Check. Basketball & football fans? Check. Cross-fit geeks? Check. Offered in a wide range of hides in countless finishes including Horween's legendary Chromexcel, alligator, ostrich & bison as well as suedes, metallics -- even options in ponyskin (essentially a hair-on-hide cow leather, styles can even be custom embossed or monogrammed with just about anything you can think of given enough time -- making Leather Head a perfect gift this holidays season.
